Let's set sail for a dream wedding, the one of our beautiful bride Stéphanie...

The proposal :
‘My partner isn't very talkative, so he opted for a proposal in the air, in a helicopter (a very noisy place), so he didn't need to speak but simply presented me with the ring ! A successful and original proposal !
‘The most memorable and emotional moment was when our little 3 and a half year old brought us the rings ...’
The venue :
‘The wedding venue was kept secret from family and friends until the big day. What a surprise it was for them to discover the ceremony venue in this small private bay to the south of Koh Samui.
The scene was set : white sand, turquoise water and coconut palms... A real little corner of paradise.
The atmosphere was relaxed and festive! An intimate wedding with around forty people allowed us to enjoy each and every one of them ... ’
Their inspirations for the wedding :
‘I pictured my wedding with the maids of honour dressed in the same way, it creates harmony and looks lovely in the photos.
All the girls wore an old pink dress that we'd found on the website ‘Ma robe de soirée’, not forgetting the touch of pink on the boys' bow ties and socks ! I was very inspired by the Liberty theme, I wanted something lightly coloured and elegant at the same time. The Liberty theme can also be found on the groom's and our little boy's bow ties (Colonel Mustard). A great idea to match father and son !
As for the wedding dress, it was the advice from Herve mariage that helped me find THE perfect dress !
For the decoration I took inspiration from the ‘save the deco’ website and turned to Fanny from ‘mains et merveille’ to create my guest book and table names.
The shoe creation :
‘’As I couldn't find what I wanted in stores, a friend advised me to look at the Dessine-moi un soulier website. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that it was possible to create made-to-measure shoes at a very affordable price. So I played along, creating several different pairs on the site... Until I finally created the shoes I wore on my big day. The perfect heel height (8 cm), old pink velvet to match my witnesses and a white sequined bow to match the heel for elegance! As well as being original, these pumps are very comfortable .... And no, I didn't end up in ballerinas or barefoot for dancing, I wore them from 1pm to 2am with no problem at all !
Their favorite service providers :
Audrey Versini : photographer
Videart création : Videographer
Mais et merveille : made-to-measure decoration
L'atelier de Sylvie : creation of made-to-measure jewellery
Stéphanie's advice :
To have a beautiful wedding and be able to let go on the big day, I think you need to be very organised ! The better organised you are before the wedding, the more you'll enjoy your big day ! And one piece of advice I can give to brides-to-be : above all, enjoy yourself! It's your day, your wedding and your dream come true !
