The encounter & the venue
We met in middle school, but nothing came of it back then. However, four years ago, at a party, we had a spark, and since then, we’ve been inseparable!
The proposal happened on January 2nd. He had everything set up: rose petals, a ring, candles, and music, but during the proposal, our two-year-old daughter drank from one of the candles! Thankfully, he had just lit them! Whew!
The venue:
We got married in a church in Epernay. The reception was held outdoors, and the evening celebration took place at a farm in St-Martin-d’Ablois. Everything was perfect—the caterer, the photographer, the pastry chef... Everything went off without a hitch! During the reception, we also rented a photo booth and had a caravan with three musicians.
A funny little anecdote from our wedding that still makes me smile today: on the way to the church, I lost my car bouquet at a roundabout, but it was retrieved and saved! So, we ended up being a little late to the church. The priest wasn’t happy about that! ^^
And it was wonderful to see our two-year-old daughter make her entrance as a flower girl!
Their inspiration :
I found inspiration for my decorations online and on Pinterest. I already had a clear idea of everything I wanted! For the table napkins, I bought linen by the meter, which my mother sewed, and my grandmother embroidered our initials in cross-stitch. Simply beautiful :)
The shoe design:
For the shoes, I recommend the chunky heel—it’s so comfortable!

Stéphie's advices
I recommend packing a small bag with makeup in case you need any touch-ups! Also, I suggest having some painkillers on hand in case a guest gets a headache...
The most important thing is to fully embrace your day without overthinking it—just go with the flow!
